SubscriptionGauge is a public price list. It does not sell addresses, and it does not run ads.
Page visits
The site uses Vercel Web Analytics. That measurement does not use cookies. It counts page views, and a few actions such as adding a service, copying an embed, or opening an official price page. Those action counts do not include your email address. A landing link can carry a source name, such as the site that referred you, and that name is stored with the action. The same daily totals are kept in private storage so the counts still exist if the analytics product does not record custom events. Vercel Speed Insights is also loaded so we can see whether pages are slow. None of this is sold.
What is kept
- Price notes: the email address, stored as a Resend contact in the price-notes segment when Resend is configured. The form does not send email.
- A price-alert request that is not confirmed yet: the email address and the services, in a private pending file. That request is not an active alert. The reply is the same whether or not this address already had an alert, and it does not include a manage link. A confirmation email is sent only when alert mail is on for that address.
- A confirmed price alert, or one saved while you are signed in as that address: the email address, the services, and a secret token, in a private Vercel Blob file. Confirming replaces any older token. A Resend contact may store the same address and the service list. Price notes are a separate segment on that contact. The form does not send a price alert.
- A service request: the service name and an optional pricing-page address, in private Blob. No email is required.
- A correction or deletion request on the contact page: the message, and an email or page address only if you include one, in private Blob. The form does not send email.
- The calculator list on this device stays in this browser. The public sign-in form does not send email while sign-in is off.
- A signed-in calculator is a private Blob file named with a hash of the email. The file holds the selected plans and prices you typed. The file name is the hash, not the address. The address is in the sign-in cookie on that device. A one-time link file holds the address and the list for 15 minutes, then that file is deleted when the link is opened.
- Sign out of all devices stores the time of that sign-out under the email hash, without the address. Each later visit checks the cookie against that time.
- Delete synced data stores the time of that deletion under the email hash, without the address, so this browser does not upload the same list again until the list changes.
Email alerts are not being sent to the public yet. Saving an address does not mean a message will arrive.
What is deleted
- Unsubscribing from every price alert deletes the Blob alert file, the token file, and the service index entries. That removes the address and the token from the alert store. It does not delete the Resend contact, does not unsubscribe that contact, and does not change price-notes membership. The confirmation page can undo this and save the alert again. Opening the unsubscribe link does not delete anything until you press Unsubscribe. The one-click mail header still deletes the alert record immediately, and still leaves the Resend contact in place.
- Removing one service keeps the address and the token. That service comes off the alert list. The Resend contact stays, including any price-notes membership. The service list on that contact is updated.
- Delete all my data, while signed in, deletes the Resend contact. If that delete fails, the contact is marked unsubscribed instead, and its price-notes segment membership is removed when that segment is configured. It deletes the alert record, any pending alert request, and the hash-named watchlist file. The list in this browser stays.
- Sign out deletes only this device's cookie. The watchlist file stays.
- Sign out of all devices updates the revocation time and deletes this device's cookie. Other devices stop working on their next visit. The watchlist file stays.
- Delete synced data deletes the hash-named watchlist file. It does not leave an empty copy of that file. The list in this browser stays. Price alerts, pending alert requests, and the Resend contact are not deleted.
For anything else, use the contact page and name the email address or the message you want removed.
