Fine print
Sam's Club Help: Sam's Club Plus includes Walmart+ Annual, read on , adds these limits:
- There is no trial for Sam's Club Plus.
- An American Express Walmart+ benefit covers the monthly Walmart+ plan and does not cover the $120 plan, so the monthly statement credit stops if you switch.
- The included Walmart+ is for the eligible primary Plus member. Complimentary and add-on members do not automatically receive it.
- Canceling the $120 membership ends both Sam's Club Plus and Walmart+ at the end of the current term.
- The memberships work together, but the accounts and shopping stay separate.
How it compares
US list prices per year, before tax, from the catalog. These are not the same bundle of benefits.
| Membership | Price |
|---|---|
| Amazon Prime | $139 a year ($14.99 a month) |
| Costco Executive | $130 a year. Gold Star is $65. |
| Walmart+ with Sam's Club Plus | $120 a year |
| Walmart+ only | $98 a year ($12.95 a month) |
Prime includes Prime Video. Costco is a warehouse club. Walmart's plan pairs delivery with Sam's Club access and one ad-supported streaming service.
Who it's for
If you already pay for Walmart+ annually and would use a warehouse club, the switch costs $22. If you already have Sam's Club Plus, activate Walmart+, since it costs nothing extra. If you only want Walmart delivery and would not use Sam's Club, Walmart+ alone at $98 a year is still the cheaper plan.
