Pandora price increase 2026: every plan, monthly and annual

This is Pandora the music streaming service, not Pandora jewelry. Pandora says its new full prices took effect for new subscriptions on September 22, 2026. If you already subscribe, “your new rate will appear for any billing that takes place on or after October 22, 2026” (2026 Pandora Subscription Rate Change FAQ).

New prices are from Pandora’s Subscriptions FAQ, for plans bought directly on the Pandora website; taxes may apply. Old prices are from the same FAQ as archived on July 22, 2026. Add Pandora Premium to the calculator.

Who pays the new price, and when

• New subscribers: from September 22, 2026.
• Existing monthly plans: “Updated price applies at your next monthly billing date,” on any billing on or after October 22, 2026.
• Existing annual plans: “Updated price applies at your next yearly renewal date.” Your current year is not repriced.
• Premium Family: “The total plan price will update at renewal; individual member access remains unchanged.”

Pandora adds: “You will not be charged the updated price before your current billing cycle ends.” Your own new rate is in the email Pandora sent you, or in Settings > Subscription after you sign in.

What you can do

Switch plans

Pandora says “You can switch plans at any time in your account settings. Changes will take effect at your next billing cycle.” Pandora Plus is the cheapest paid plan, but it is personalized stations: you can’t search and play any song on demand without viewing an ad.

Pay yearly

Twelve monthly Premium bills come to $143.88. The annual Premium plan is $131.89, or $11.99 less.

Cancel before you renew

From Pandora Help: Cancel your subscription: “To avoid being charged again at your renewal date (or at the end of your free trial period), be sure to cancel your subscription or trial at least 24 hours beforehand.” You keep access until the end of the period you paid for, then the account goes back to free Pandora with ads.

Billed by Apple, Google Play, or another partner?

Pandora’s rate-change FAQ says that if a third party handles billing, “you must manage your subscription directly through that billing provider.” Its cancel page says Pandora cannot cancel, change, or refund subscriptions bought through Apple, Amazon, Roku, or carriers.
